working on finally gettin my collection, or whats left of it, up. Have not had the funds to get mugs in a while, have had to sell off my more rare vintage mugs over the last few years, including the two Bumatays, but love what i still have and gaze upon them each day. Started collecting somewhere around '96. First modern mug was a gift, a Munktiki mug, in the late 90's. I love any mugs depicting imagery from Papua new Guinea and Spurlin and Frankoma glaze work and a lot of the rare stylistic non tiki imagery mugs, such as the fogcutter grain mugs, used in the bars of yesteryear. Started making mugs in 2003 under the monicker `Ona Tiki, then came back in 2007 under the monicker Ocea Otica (pronounced with the sound of Oceanic and exotica). Have over the years fallen madly in love with ceramics as an artform and encourage everyone to try their hand at it at some point. Hopefully will get photos up soon!
