My fascination with all things Tiki started with my very first trip to Disneyland when I was 6 years old. For some magical reason the "Enchanted Tiki Room" was VERY, VERY enchanting to me...enchanting enough that I wanted to move in! A few years later my parents took me on my first trip to the Hawaiian Islands and that, as they say, was that. I still have the shirt I bought on that first trip...it read "Here today, Gone To Maui".I thought it was so clever and I wore it when-ever and where-ever I could. Sadly, I didn't get another trip to Hawaii until I was an adult. Now I go every year and have been over a dozen times. I consider myself kama'aina even if others don't. I truly love the Islands with all of my heart. My dream is to one day build myself a nice little Tiki Hut and live happily ever after. My collection started with all things Hawaiiana and then moved into the world of TIKI. I thought I'd died and gone to Tiki heaven when my best friend, Hiphipahula, turned me onto Tiki Farm. Not really knowing much about Tiki collecting at the time Tiki Farm was the best place for a newbie like me. The Farm was amazing and had everything I'd always wanted and at the same time it connected me to the wonderful, bigger world of Tiki. Today I'm having a blast being an "urban archeologist" I hope you enjoy my collection, I have many new mugs to add so check back.
