The first mug in my collection was noticed at a prop warehouse firesale by my wife in 2006...we bought it for 65 cents. That led to a tiki themed wedding, and nice tiki mugs for special occasions. Then I started getting them as gifts and seeking them out at yardsales and thrift stores, and the collection just keeps growing.
I live in Atlanta, so there is much love for Trader Vic's and for the Mai Kai in my collection. Hoping to track down some mugs from Atlanta's PolyPop past (such as it was) with mugs from Trader Engs and Atlanta/Dobbs Hot Luau.
