My first exposure to Tiki was a vacation to Florida when I was around 5 years old. We stayed at the Disney Polynesian Resort. I remember the night time Luau and hula/fire dance shows that happened nightly. The pool had a volcano slide and a waterfall. I seem to remember walking along a path to the night time luau's. Along this path were Tiki statues that made ooga-booga type noises. I was hooked. I'm mostly into collecting vintage items, but as you can see, newer mugs have made it into my collection.
