Jard Products Inc., a.k.a. JPI|
Production years: circa 1960 - 1969
Very little is known about Jard Products, Inc., also known as JPI. These mugs appear to have only been used at the Hawaii Kai restaurant in New York City. The Jard designs are identical to those made by Otagiri Manufacturing Company, whose items were also used by Hawaii Kai, and the elaborate foil diamond stickers used by both companies are nearly identical. Items from both companies were manufactured in Japan. Around this same time, there was a "Jard Products" based out of New York City that was a business front for mafioso Johnnie Dio, the business was purported to produce promotional items for companies.
