Great condition with all the cold paint intact. Very cool!

Super rare late 50s Tiki mug from "The Waikiki" in near perfect shape with cold paint intact. No cracks or chips. Just some crazing from age. See pictures! On the back logo, the "T" in "The Waikiki" is missing some of its ink which occurred during the manufacturing process. As good a condition as you will ever find for this mug. In my many years of collecting, I've seen only two and both of which had most of the red cold paint missing.

A standing Ku mug with red, white, and black cold paint details. The mug itself is a light brown and fog-cutter-shaped. Back has a yellow lei of flowers and reads: "The Waikiki Washington D.C." Matchbook addresses show the location of The Waikiki to be identical to that of the second Luau Hut location opened in Washington D.C. Likely, The Waikiki was a predecessor and was converted into the second Luau Hut location.
