This green glass with gold painted details was made by Imperial Glass Company for Trader Vic's. Morgantown Glass Company was occasionally contracted by Imperial Glass to produce these if their production line was at capacity. Trader Vic's also used a companion glass, a red Port Light Glass.

Thanks for the nice comments. I think in the case of the Port & Starboard mugs the Port red glass was richer in color & more appealing to the masses. I believe the Starboard drink was just as popular as the Port drink but when it was time to slip a tumbler into the handbag & take off for splitsville, those masses took the Port leaving the Starboard's behind making them rare today.?
