This red clay teapot was manufactured for the Hawaii Kai in New York. It has football-shaped eyes and an open rectangular mouth exposing its many teeth. The top of the lid features a tiki also. It is marked "Hawaii Kai New York City" on the back in raised letters. There is also a matching sugar bowl and creamer. The Hawaii Kai refered to the set in their ads as the Ipo Aloha, Hotta Potta and Hula Kula.
