"Sculpted by Crazy Al Evans to match the hard work Bamboo Ben and Al did while decking out the Kona Club in Oakland CA. Find the same tapa designs from the walls of the Kona and Rope-a-dope bamboo. Find Ben's own Tapa Wrapped Bamboo and fish bone wall matting, as well as the walls of the painting gallery... Looking inland at a pre-Cpt.Cooke view at the bay where Doug owns his HI. house... set right next to an actual Hawaiian temple State Monument..." All of this if found and duplicated in Crazy Al Evan's Kona Club Mug... A handsome tribute to Bamboo Ben indeed.

This mug was designed by Crazy Al Evans for the Kona Club in Oakland, CA. The mug has bamboo bundles down the side and a tapa pattern around the top and bottom. The back of the mug features a smouldering volcano on a hill overlooking a little hut and some palm trees. There is a surfer at the base of the mug. This is one of Al's limited edition versions of the mug.
