Purchased 9/13/2008 - 2nd Ashtray.
Frankoma T8 Fish Ashtray Brown Satin - This is a companion piece to the Polynesian line designed by Joniece Frank for Club Trade Winds in Tulsa, OK. It was also used for a short time by The Cultured Pearl, also in Tulsa, OK. This piece was put into the regular Frankoma line for a short time. My piece was probably produced for the Frankoma line as opposed to Club Trade Winds or Cultured Pearl as it does not bear any markings from either of those two establishments. It was produced from approximately 1960-1971, is 7 1/2" nose to tail and 4 1/2" at its widest point at the rear.

This brown fish shaped ashtray was produced by Frankoma Pottery. It has a protruding eyeball and is smiling and has bone-like indentations along a raised spine.
