Palembei was designed and produced by Falin Minorou aka Tiki Kaimuki. It was influenced by the art of the Sepik River region of Papua New Guinea. The tiki has round protruding eyes set in deep sockets, a large open mouth and a long nose that extends from his forehead down past his mouth. The glaze colors vary throughout the limited run.
