Purchased 9/14/2008. Frankoma T2 Bamboo Mug in Desert Gold. This piece is part of the Polynesian line designed by Joniece Frank for Club Trade Winds in Tulsa, OK. It was also used for a short time by The Cultured Pearl, also in Tulsa, OK. This piece was put into the regular Frankoma line for a short time. My piece was probably produced for the Frankoma line as opposed to Club Trade Winds or Cultured Pearl as it does not bear any markings from either of those two establishments. It was produced from approximately 1960-1971, is 7" tall, 2 1/2" diameter at its top and 2 3/4" diameter at its base. Stamped "Frankoma" on its base.

This mug is shaped like a piece of bamboo and was manufactured by Frankoma Pottery. The glaze is Desert Gold which is a mix of creamy beige and golden brown.
