Parker Potteries Maori Mug - like the other Parker Potteries mug I have, this is also a copy of another manufacturer's work - in this case Crown Lynn "Wharetana" ware, which itself was probably copied from a US tiki mug! Parker also made the "Tangata" port decanter and another Maori decanter I have yet to acquire...

This brown handled mug was manufactured by Parker Pottery in New Zealand. The mug has a Maori face with football-shaped eyes and a protruding tongue. The design appears to be borrowed from Crown Lynn's "Wharetana" ware.
