Crazy Al Tiki #12 Decanter Artist Proof Reddish Purple
This decanter is based on Crazy Al's tiki #12 carved in 1998. This version of the decanter has a reddish purple glaze with a lot of white showing through. Basically a Maroon Delft similar to Al's other Delfts. The tiki is holding a small torch in his mouth that can be lit at each end. It is marked "#75 AP" and is dated 04/01/09 on the bottom. I paid for a decanter at Al's 10-Year-Anniversary Show at the Bahooka Restaurant in Rosemead California on 10/18/08 , but I didn't pick it up until the Tiki Mugs book signing at 8-Ball on 04/05/2009. The glaze effect was a sight unseen surprise. I like it! Well worth the wait!!
