Although there is no date marked on this piece, the fella I purchased this mug from suggests it is 60's. The mug is shaped like a bundle of bamboo strips and has a bamboo shaped handle. It reads "Beer" on a bamboo leaf. The mug is coloured a beige-coffee colour with detail in dark brown and some hints of green. The inside is an off-white colour, this may be due to age. The base has an oval shaped stamp in black and reads "made in Japan".
Looks like this was used often but is in a reasonably good state for it's age.
I have found a similar "Coffee" mug in the "collection of Chub" copy & paste this url to check it out
