The Pikake Kanikani Vessel was designed and produced by Gecko. Pikake Kanikani means chattering peacock, and this evocative name is the inspiration for the interior glaze which is a mixture of blues and greens. The exterior is brown and has a very simple tapa pattern providing a nice contrast to the vibrant interior. The bowl is supported by five tikis with eyes squinted shut, flared nostrils, open mouths with gritting teeth and a small tiki on their foreheads.
