I didn't make this event but stayed at the Caliente Tropics for the 2009 Desert Classic Concours. They checked someone else in with my credit card and gave us a nasty room. After complaining a bit they upped us to a suite and corrected the cc error.

This tiki mug was designed by Doug Horne and produced by Tiki Farm for the Tiki Caliente II event in 2010 at the Caliente Tropics in Palm Springs. The mug has a vase-like silhouette like a Fu Manchu mug, with a tiki face reminiscent of the Mainlander tiki mugs. However, the primary inspiration is likely an Ed Crissman-carved vintage tiki on the grounds at the Caliente Tropics.
