Distinguishing
"Zoobah" Very Original Tiki Skull By Mikel Parton. There is a floating, gliding "Art Deco" style to this piece. Made in the fashion of RaKu from what I gather from what the tag reads, "RaKu". Meaning: Raku a pottery technique in which pots are raw-glazed at a low temperature then taken red-hot from the kiln and plunged in water or sawdust for reduction or carbonizing. Purchased at the "Tonga Hut's 1st Hand Built Show" 4/2009 Holds 6 oz. of liquid. Large heavy mug.

This hand-built skull mug is designed in a minimalist abstract style with clean lines. A raku glaze also gives each mug a unique finish. Comes in different glazes and with slight differences in the sculpting from skull to skull.
