This vintage mug looks to be a hobby made one off. It is dated 1962 on the bottom and has some fabulous vintage
colors. This may be a mug version of the M.H. Strikow Kahlua decanter designed by E. A. Almond. Very Good condition with normal glaze crazing and a small 1/8" glaze imperfection above one eye.

This hobbyist mug is based on a decanter created by M. H. Strikow for Kahlua liqueurs. The tall, slender design is very abstract, and looks vaguely tiki-ish, perhaps most closely resembling a moai. The mug version is missing inches off the top and instead of a decanter top with lid, has a broader mug-like opening at top. Glaze colors and decoration vary.
