This is a shot mug shaped like a Tiki version of a Deep One from the Cthulhu Mythos written about by H.P. Lovecraft. This shot version is sandstone glazed. There is also a version in antique bronze, seaweed green, "Ghoulish Green" (Green), and "Hasturian Yellow" (Zombie Yellow). The Deep Ones are an amphibious, marine race that serve Cthulhu. They are capable of breeding with humans and there are many tales of Deep One/Human Hybrids inhabiting remote coastal towns like Innsmouth. The cocktails served in these Devil's Reef mugs are indescribable.
