These salt and pepper shakers are designed after the Tiki that can be seen in the opening credits of "Hawaiian Eye", the television series which ran from 1959-1963. The original Tiki statue was part of the decor of the Hawaiian Village Hotel offices of the detective agency. These shakers have slanted eyes, long noses, open mouths, and small narrow necks that extend from small circular block bases.
