Hand-built mug made by me, textured with wood grain, and using a Holland mold as a press mold to create the pinup. Glazed in experimental black gloss glaze with orange flecks for mug, "Eggshell White" for pinup, and "Rust" for wrap. Made of stoneware.

This is a mug featuring a topless wahine with a wrap around her lower torso and her leg extended. The same molded wahine has also been used by ceramicists to ornament ashtrays and bowls. There is also a second Holland mold of a kneeling nude wahine used in the same fashion.
