This brown glazed mug with cold painted details was manufactured by Victoria Ceramics of Japan. Although often mistaken for Polynesian/Tiki, these mugs actually belong to a stacker set as part of a full Pacific Northwest Indian Totem. The totem set consisted of at least three slightly differing head mugs. Other S&P shakers and accompanying pieces rounded out the set. These were sold in tourist shops throughout the Pacific Northwest.
